On my second year with this machine and love it!! Great depth and separation. Great for relics and coin hunters!!

I have owned the t2 classic for a few months now, and found it to be a very good machine, once I had got used to its settings. I use my t2 on land & beach, on the beach especially on wet sand I have to back the machine off. I use these settings for deep coins, Sensitivity 95, Discrim. 5, Tone 2 , on the wet sand I use Sensitivity 60-70, Discrim 40-45, Tone 2 & for relic hunting I find these settings very good, Sensitivity 90, Discrim. 5 ot 10, Tone 2 . I have found hammered coins & quarter hammered`s with my relic settings. I would recommend the t2 classic without any hesitation, its a good all round machine.

This is my main detector for the last year and most likely the next year to come. One of the best relic and coin shooters on the planet. Very deep across the whole conductivity range....iron to gold to silver. Recovery speed is insanely fast and it separates and unmasks with detectors costing 2 times as much. Multiple tons options including the 3B mode to deal with pesky bottle caps. A very sensitive all metal mode that can pick up a BB at 5 inches...it's great for you gold prospectors too. The T2 was my first detector. I've used this to hunt local parks and occasionally around and in the lake at our cottage. It has been a great machine so far. I wish that the entire unit was water proof so I could be deeper in the lake or out in the rain without baggies over the box...I guess I need to purchase a cover. I've found lots of clad and tokens so far but I'm still on the lookout for my first silver. I'm still learning the machine but I wish that it was able to do some notch discrimination. Overall I'm quite pleased with it.

You will never need to buy another metal detector if you own a T2 Classic! The T2 Classic is a well made, high tech metal detector that is easy to learn for the beginner and has advanced capabilities for the seasoned detectorist. That is why you will never need to buy another metal detector. If you are new to the hobby, the T2 Classic is easy to set up and learn. With its simple settings, you can detect with it right out of the box. As you become more experienced, the T2 Classic has more advanced settings that fit your needs. The T2 Classic is light-weight but sturdy. I have owned one for 9 years. When I detect, I can be a bit aggressive with my machine, as I keep the coil extremely close to the ground and will detect in heavily brushy areas if need be. My T2 has held up all the way. The T2 Classic gets great depth. I can feel confident that I'm not missing anything I swing over. With all this being said, the T2 Classic is sold at an incredibly low price for what you get. That is why I believe anyone looking for an entry level machine should consider the T2 Classic! It is an advanced machine at an entry level price. It is easy to learn and will never be outgrown.

The first day out with my new T2 I found 2 silver dimes in a spot I hunted 20 or more times with 3 diffetent brands of machines. Many others have hunted this field also over the years, but when I got that slight repeatable high at 11" I dug it. First dime came up with a deteriorated pocket knife and the other Mercury had nails all over it. Its been 4 months and Im still turning old sites into new producers!!!

By far and away, the best bang for your metal detecting buck. Super sensitive to small targets and fast recovery time make it my go-to machine for relics especially in heavy iron with the 5" coil. Out of the many machines I've used over the years, the T2 is what I grab first.

I have only been in the hobby for 5 months. My first machine was a fisher f2 , which was a great detector but wanted something more. After looking at reviews and forums I decided to go with the T2. This will be my last machine I buy. Very easy to setup Great depth

I rate the T2 Classic so highly that I have a 2nd one as my backup machine! The Depth & Separation on small targets in 'trashy' areas is second to none. Just one niggle - wish the on/off was on the other side of the machine as I somehow always manage to keep catching & turning it!

1st detector and I absolutely LOVE it! The learning curve with the T2 was effortless. I researched many brands and models and settled on the time proven T2. In the short couple of months that I've owed it I have found a Barber dime, silver, 2 rings, coins, 3 flat buttons, knife and many other things. I am a relatively new T2 Classic owner having only had it for a couple months so far. The ergonomics, fit, feel, and balance of this machine are incredible. It is a very well made, sturdy, machine. I have fallen in love with the trigger used for pinpointing and ground balancing. It has a higher iron range than most my other detectors which makes me think it will become my goto relic hunter but so far it is killing coins at my local park. I have seen lots of videos and air tests about its prowess as a gold nugget shooter but have yet to test that out myself. I look forward to it! The head and user interface is very simple to operate and understand. The recovery speed on this machine is insanely fast, much faster than you would ever actually swing in the field. I would recommend this machine to anyone wanting a professional, tried and true, tested and proven detector that will cover all the bases for you. Its a classic.

I purchased a T2 classic about 2 years ago as a back-up machine for my AT PRO. And after the second outing with it it's my go to relic machine. I hunt civil war relics primarily and the T2 classic is the best relic machine I own, and I own several high end machines. I would always recommend the T2 classic to anyone, beginner or pro. There isn't a better detector made for the price, and they often out perform machines that cost 5X more. Thanks for an awesome machine.

The T2 Classic is simply the best machine for the type of hunting I do which is picking through iron at old houses looking for coins. I use the 5" DD coil hunting these places and that thing finds coins with 2 to 3 nails in the same hole all the time. I also relic hunt for Civil War relics and this thing in all metal mode is wicked deep, I've found Minnie balls down to 10" in 3-4 bar mineralized Georgia red clay using the 11" stock coil. Teknetics knocked it out of the park with this machine.
